We sure have had a busy couple of months! Kyle's 5th birthday fell on Easter Sunday this year, which he really liked, it was almost like a second Christmas since he got his Easter basket, candy, birthday presents and cake on the same day! The following week we had his birthday party with friends at a local pizza place (it's like Chuck E Cheese, but smaller and with much better pizza) so that was a ton of fun for him.
Kyle just started Tee-Ball, his first game is this Thursday evening, which also happens to be Steve's birthday. I have no idea where Kyle gets his athletic ability, but he has a really good arm and can hit the ball off the tee pretty far! Like all the other 5 year olds on the team Kyle turns into a space cadet in the outfield, where the kids stare off into space, pick dandelions, make funny faces or burping noises at each other for laughs....that's boys for ya! We'll post some pics soon.
The baby is doing fine. Thursday I'll be 17 weeks/5 months pregnant which is very exciting and hard to believe how fast this pregnancy has already gone by. Baby is kicking more and more everyday and doing very well. We decided we will not find out the gender of our baby until he or she arrives in October.
Next week Kyle graduates from Pre-K and then I'll be busy keeping his mind and body active over the summer months. It will be back to the days at the pool or in the splash ground at the local park, going to the dollar movie theater, attending back yard BBQs with friends, and doing whatever else we can to avoid the Texas heat!
