Baby's Room!!

Steve and I spent Monday painting the nursery from the awful deep lavender to a light lime green. Wednesday Steve put together the furniture and I organized the dresser. We are totally set if we happen to be blessed with another boy! We'll just need some warmer items, but we have tons of Kyle's baby clothes we thankfully saved.

Also we're planning to use Kyle's crib bedding if we have a boy and if we happen to have a girl, then we'll have fun shopping for girly crib bedding and room decor to personalize the nursery.

Kyle is adjusting beautifully to Kindergarten. He loves school and his teacher, which is really awesome! Most days he behaves very well in school, but sometimes he gets bored and restless which equals problems for his poor teacher who has 19 other students to teach. Kyle really is trying hard to always be a good boy, but even his teacher told me that sometimes it's very hard for him no matter how hard he tries. I am sure in a couple of weeks it will get easier for him!

I really wish his school district allowed the younger grades more than 1 recess a day. 20 + years ago, younger kids had a morning recess and a lunch recess OR a lunch recess and afternoon recess. Who decided that was a bad thing?!

5 year olds who are in school for 7 hours a day, need an extra recess to expel that energy! I am beginning to think it is not coincidence that Kyle behaves perfectly on days he has gym class, but struggles on the days his class has music. Okay, I'm done with my little rant on that subject for now! LOL
