My doctor thought our little one was in the breech position at my weekly appointment on Monday so I was asked to schedule an ultrasound. Today Steve and I went and saw our little one. My goodness has our little pumpkin filled out! Baby had chubby cheeks and is already measuring 2 weeks ahead and approximately 7 1/2 lbs, which is funny since I've only gained 10 lbs. so far this pregnancy! This little one will probably outweigh his or her big brother, who was a respectable 8 lbs. 2 oz. at birth. I am fairly sure our pumpkin will be a healthy 9 lbs. at least.
Thankfully baby is not breech, just really big and hanging out on my left side above my hip, which totally explains why I have been having such trouble walking and bending over. It's been especially inconvenient at work, but I plan on working until baby comes or my due date arrives. Thankfully the shifts at work are short!
Not much else new to report...Steve had his staycation last week and it was so nice to have him home more! Kyle is having fun at school and is really excited to meet his little brother or sister.
