It's been a few weeks

We have sure enjoyed this month being back to normal. Kyle has been enjoying preschool and on Friday we got his second quarter report card. Steve and I are ecstatic he went from 14 NIs (Needs Improvement)in the first quarter to 1 NI. That is fantastic progress! All his other marks (E- emerging and G- good) all stayed the same or improved as well.

This week Steve finished working the grand opening of the new Coppell store, which is absolutely wonderful that is now over. It was no fun for him to wake up at 3am to make it to Coppell before 5am and work until 4pm, drive crazy 121 during rush hour (hwy. 121 runs between our home to Fort Worth with the DFW airport in-between), he would come home eat dinner and go right to bed. Poor guy, he did this while being sick with a nasty cough and cold. In a couple of weeks he'll have a three day weekend, which hardly ever happens, he is so excited!

We have Kyle signed up for T-Ball this spring and he is really looking forward to playing on his first team. This week we're buying him a glove and ball to do some pre-season practicing. The season actually starts in late April, but we had to register him early because here in Texas, sports are a big deal and there are not enough teams on the league to accommodate all the kids.

I've been busy with leading at MOMS Connection at our church, helping plan my best friend's (one of my best friends) baby shower for her little girl arriving soon and getting some serious scrapbooking done as well as doing more preparation and research for house hunting in March. With Kyle starting elementary school in August it's important we move before the new school year arrives.

Tomorrow Steve works, Kyle and I will go to church, and then we're going to his classmate's birthday party at a bowling/laser tag place. Our crazy yet simple life at it's best. Ha!
