After 3 Christmases with our $30 fake tree, which was starting to look like a little sad and barren, we purchased a nice big artificial 7 foot tree this year.

Where we grew up in the Northwest, it was sac religious to use an artificial tree however here in Texas we refuse to pay $75 for a real tree that was trucked in from Michigan, which will die shortly after it's put up.

For a fake, it's a real pretty tree. We even took Kyle's annual Christmas card picture in front of it. I'm not sure why, but I love making my Christmas cards online and picking them up at Target....and receiving Christmas cards from friends and family is fun too. We have a tradition of making a collage out of all the cards we receive on our coat closet door. Kyle loves looking at his cousins, relatives, and friends every time he walks past that door.

Well, today is nothing more than cleaning, finishing up our Christmas shopping and laundry as well as mailing out those Christmas cards. Just another December day in the life of our little family.
