For the past several weeks there has been an incredibly friendly little black and white kitty hanging around our apartment building. She has two collars but no tags, so I think she is very lost. After batting my eye lashes and showing Steve how super cute this cat is, we decided to take her in until we find her owners or a new home if owners do not come forward.
Unfortunately we cannot keep her permanently because Milo is not adjusting well. He's been hiding, hissing, and growling so we need to find her a home soon. Kyle is a little sad about it, but seems to understand.
Also little kitty does not like using the litter box, so we've been putting her outside a few times a day...but after 5 or 10 minutes she's back at our doorstep meowing. I am wondering if she's been outside so long that she doesn't like litter boxes or that she smells Milo in there.
We had to give her a name, something to call her while she's with us so we came up with Oreo, which suits her personality well because she is as sweet as a cookie. She loves to sit on Kyle's lap and give him little kisses. Oreo is very happy being inside after who knows how long, she was outside for...also it's been very cold at night.
