This morning was Kyle's very first Christmas program at school. We saw our little man (my baby, Steve's little man) sing "Joy to the World" and "Go Tell it on the Mountain". Kyle was very excited to get dressed as a Shepard, but for some reason the Shepards costumes for the boys were being used by another Pre-K class, so all the boys and girls were angels....and he sure was the most adorable angel-boy up on stage!
This is the first of many holiday programs he'll be in, and I have to admit...I teared up a little while watching Kyle and the other children sing. It was a very bittersweet moment as a mommy, bitter because next year he'll be in elementary school all day and that means he'll truly be a "big boy", and sweet because I loved every second watching him sing and get dressed up as an angel. Now only if he could act like one at home more often.....
