Kyle's very first encounter with Santa was a year ago at the Wal-Mart down the street from our home. Santa came up to our cart and asked Kyle what he wanted for Christmas....Kyle screamed and bolted. I found him about a scary 90 seconds or so later in the women's lingerie department hiding in a rack of silky nighties.
This year at Frisco Safety Town, they had their annual Christmas fair for the kids and Kyle ACTUALLY sat next to Santa! Safety Town is a really fun place for kids and their families to explore a fire truck; a little city with real traffic lights, cross walks, and sidewalks, as well as little shops. There was a Wal-Mart, a bank, police station, school, and other little stores. It was really a lot of fun, so we're adding it to our list of Christmas time traditions.
